Sorry to hear about your vettes Micki. I'm just glad that neither you or Joel's Mrs. were hurt.
Give both places time to work on your babies. It might seem to take forever, but if you have good shops you know they are doing it right.
Mine has been gone for over a month now, tracing wiring issues with my guages and fixing the vacuum system. I will it back this week, and even though I miss it a lot, I know the wait will have been worth it.

Mick, I am just getting back in the swing of things after going to the museum (12 hrs with the tops down is tuff).
I'm sorry to hear about your car. 71Shark and I saw a LOT of recaps laying all over the highway. There was a motor home that had apparently been hit by a whole tire that blew off the rim sitting on the side of the road.
I sure was glad to hear that you and Mrs. Adams were OK.
I know how you feel, not having a vette for a while. Mine went to the painter in Feb and didn't come out till July due to weather. Joel is right, if the guys are anal (and my guy gives a whole new meaning to the word), you want to let them do their stuff.
When my car came back, the screws on the side pipe covers were clocked exactly the same on both sides of the car, but damn, she looked good!!!
Glad yer OK!

You should of seen the look on Mrs. Adam's face........it was like....."OH SH*T".........I said it out loud combined with some other words.

I got the same look from Mrs. Adams when Tootie (the Chihuahua dog) came out of her purse and had a bad case of diarrhea on the console glove box.

......Gross, but true!

Hey thanks, Karen! Where have you been? Haven't seen ya on here lately!??

Went by the body shop TODAY and I saw them puttin' on Otis' back tail lights in his new bumper. He's getting assembled finally....I'll be afraid to drive him when he's completed.

We've been doin alot of boatin. Trying to get in a few river trips before winter sets in. Looks like the money for a "new" car may go for boat fix up instead. Of course, with what we'll spend fixing up the boat, I could buy a brand new Vette! At least we can live on the boat if we have too....can't live in a Vette. Gotta see what the surveyer says about increased value before deciding.
Also been swamped with "back-to-school" stuff. God I hate back-to-school time! Means the end of flexible kid schedules!!!!
