OH MY... I don't know when the Black Rose color first came out but I do remember seeing it on C4s and the Impala SS. It always intrigued me how it changed very subtly as the sunlight hit it at different angles. And there didn't seem to be a bottom to the color, just SO deep.
I agree with Brian - get a 4 post lift and keep the LT-1. They are a relatively rare breed and I can guarantee you will regret selling it.
UPDATE: did a little web-crawling and what I found was Black Rose was an available color beginning in 1992.
