Michele and I made are own "pilgramage" to BG last week.
That was one cool trip. We got to see the '04's at the assembly plant along with the glimpse of the '04 Caddy XLR'S being built. I was amazed at the attention to detail they put into the "fit & finish" of those cars. I think the best part was when they dyno tested the cars. We got to see a '04 Z06 being "flogged" in the dyno room.
Very cool. I want a job there. The museum was awesome too. I even got a copy of my build sheet for my car. Approx. sequence number -car #3975 for 1981 BG plant. Very neat to have one of the first year of production vettes from the BG plant. My window sticker should be in in a couple weeks also. I highly recommend a trip to BG to any vette owner. Hope to see many of you at the Hersey "get together" in Sept.!

Wow, that's really neat that you got to see all that....I'd love to go to BG just once!

Yeah the plant tour was neat but not as long as I hoped for I wanted to see the chasis line and It would be neet if they could incorpirate a way to see the paint area!

but it was pretty cool over all, I took my wife there and she loved it.
We decided to go to bowling green during our trip to pick up our 69.
Did you happen to see a ontario orange 72 sitting at Arts corvettes?

I want to buy that car for my wife!

I agree with you on not being able to see the chassis assmbly line and paint line. That would be a cool addition to the tour.
We did stop by Art's, and we didn't see a '72 Ont. orange vette there. Probably long gone. They did have a awesome looking red '70 there though.
