Did anyone catch the recent episode where they placed two dead pigs in the Vette and left them for a couple of months?
If you have a weak stomach, you may not want to watch.
If you have a C4, you may not want to watch.
If you like pulled pork sandwiches, you may not want to watch.
I had mixed emotions watching it. On the one hand they trashed a Vette.
On the other hand, it was a C4.
If you see it, tell us what you think.

So what was the Myth that they were trying to disprove

I started to watch...I had to leave the room....it's just WRONG! No one should do that to any Vette!
They were trying to disprove the idea that no one would buy the Vette after something had died and rotted in it. It turns out someone bought it for parts. (Hubby watched the whole thing; I found it to be torture...even though it was a C4).

not a lot of sympathy for C-4's

It just proves that no matter how bad a Corvette is, there will always be someone willing to buy it.

There is an old myth about a guy died in his Vette in the middle of
nowhere and wasn't found for weeks. The body decomposed during that
time, consequently leaving a mess. The legend is that a used car dealer
bought the car and attempted to clean it up and sell it. Problem was
that no method would completely remove the stench even after a new
interior was installed. The conclusion was that the smell had permeated
the fiberglass. Rumor is that the car eventually was sold for a parts
car. My guess is that it was all a story.

Vette(s): #1 -1969 Corvette Coupe Riverside Gold, black interior,MN,A/C,350/350,PS,PB,window cranks.
#2 -2000 C5, black/black, 6 sp, Bose system & lots of buttons.
I heard that a long time ago when I was in highschool. I remember wondering what dealership had that car. I wanted a vette so bad that I thought I would try to get that one and I would drive it whether it stunk or not & that I could probably even afford it if it was a "good deal." .....afterall, someone died in it. .......Now that's a bad case of "Corvette Fever."
