Vette(s): 1978 Silver Anniversary Edition Paint, L-48, Matching numbers, 350 c.i, 625cfm Demon Carb, Weiand Stealth intake, 268 Custom Ground Cam, 10:1 heads, Jet Hot Hooker Headers, 3:73 rear end.
It will definitely be a fun project. Sometimes I forget that we live at 7000ft and all the numbers for horsepower are based on lower altitudes. So it will be a challenge to achieve 600 hp. The real challenge will be finding all the compatible parts for this altitude. No matter how much air you push into a system the cam, heads, injectors etc. need to up the task or it all a waste. And as always there is the 20% Corvette Rule, it will take 20% longer and cost 20% more than you anticipated. So around the house its already being called The Big Experiment. Its going to be a fun year.
