Has anyone else seen the new GM commercial where the new models load onto a car-carrier while it's moving? Starts off with a red Corvette and looks better than some of the preview pics I've seen on other online forums.
Very cool spot. If you haven't seen it, you can view it at the following link. This link will take you to the Corvette page. In the lower left corner you'll see links to the commercial under the "CORVETTE NEWS" heading. Check out the full lenght version!

Guess all the hopes and dreams that Corvette would hop on the retro bandwagon and make something like what we've got looks wise with nice performance are gone. Real shame. What I see is a c5 with a mild body package. The Lingenfelter ones look better!!

Yea I saw it too, The corvette at first glance..(Ahem) looked like a viper. but then I saw it was a GM commercial and realized it must be the C-6. Only saw it once but the vette looked good.
I like the C6. I'm actually glad Chevy didn't hop on the Retro bandwagon. If I wanted something Retro i'd sell my soul and buy a P.C. Cruiser. Yes, PC stands for Piece, well you know. Only thing I don't like is visible headlights, been a long time Vette thing. Oh well, everything changes sometime I guess.

I thought the commercial was great and that the C6 looked better live than in the static pics. I'm still undecided on the headlights though. What do the rest of you guys/gals think?

I think it looks loke a modified C5, I do like the headlights. Not sure why they let a Freightliner pull the carrier. Freightliner is owned by Diamler-Chrysler. I thought at first that the Chevelle at the end was a Challenger, but with my new TiVo I rewound it and it was a Chevelle.
liked the new commercial,it gets off to a flying start with the vette- and then is immediatly ruined by whatever that piece of econo-crap is that follows the vette onto the carrier. Chevy should stick with advertising the cool stuff in high profile ads.

They are going to run ads for each vehicle separately. This campaign is to annouce that they are introducing 10 new models in the next 20 months.
Wait till you see the new Chevy Colorado commercial!...it's a hoot!
