In terms of "drivability", I am sure the C-6 is unbelievable, but when it comes to the aesthetic, the car is, well, visually BORING...My 68 and 74 may not have HUD or Magnetic Ride Control but I will take their sexy profiles any day over the C-4s thru 6s.
I was riding behind my buddy who has a 94 C4. Went pass some road workers and the reply I got from one of the workers was, his is nice, but doesn't touch the C3 (my case a 77, dark blue, white leather)in pure sex appeal

Vette(s): 1976 Brown with Buckskin Interior. I bought her on 9/15/03 and just received it on OCT 1st 2003!! It needs interior work, and some things under the hood, but I am so excited! Just waiting for Summer of 2004 to totally show it off.
alright it's not bad! however, nothing compares to the C3!! The curves on the C3 make it all worth while!

I agree with the majority here. I'm sure technically - it's amazing. But appearance-wise, it's looking more and more like something Mitsubishi would put out. I know that flip up headlights have been a problem for Vettes since they were first installed, but I still think it's worth it.
I saw a small report on the C6 on TV and they made mention of the fact that there were no more flip open headlights. Something that always seemed to be a problem for these cars.
Seems to me in this day/age there's a way to make 'em work. Is that a GM cop-out?
Anyway, I don't see why this car get's a new "C" designation. Looks to me like a slightly modified C5 so why is this a C6?
Look at the difference between a 1970 and 1982 - all C3's but a pretty obvious body style change.
I don't get it - can anyone explain?

Vette(s): 1969 Daytona Yellow Coupe - ZZ4/4 speed, Hurst shifter, Griffin aluminum radiator w/ Dual Spals, March Serpentine Pulley kit, Hookers with STS Racing Baffles, VB&P Suspension bits, 17" AR Hopsters, L-88 Hood
Personally, I like it a lot. It has some pretty obvious C3 details. Look at the fenders in particular...the exaggerated front fender with the sharp crease and the way the rear comes forward into the door skin. Admittedly the non pop up headlights will take some getting used to, but overall I'm impressed.
