Here's my $.02

Car & Driver did a lousy job showing the new Vette from all angles -- in fact they really seemed to have done everything possible to really make it look like a Camaro. Road & Track (which I usually don't like as much as Car & Driver) did a much nicer job giving the new Vette a fair viewing. After reading R & T tonight, I'm starting to really fall for the C6. |rollysmile| |rollysmile|

Think they'll offer an Orange C6 ? ? ? |laugh|

front end seems far too plain for me, and it does resemble the viper. I know the newest viper took a little bit from corvette, but chevy didn't have to take from dodge. I'm a dodge fan but i love my corvette. I'm certainly not planning on trading for a new one.

Looks more like a modified C5. I was expecting a NEW LOOK. I have a C5 (2000), plus my 75, and I would much rather cruise with my 75 anyday. How can you have a vette without popup headlights. I for one love the headlights on a vette. Others have copied, but none have replaced a corvette look. Now that is a thing of the past. At least they didn't mess with the rounded taillights.

I've seen the car in person and I don't think it's really not that bad. The pictures, as nice as they are, just don't do it justice. My only complaint would be that the "corvette" name on the rear should be in the center of the bumper where it belongs. Also, from the pictures, I thought the side scoops looked too much like a (gasp) mustang, but after seeing it, that's not the case at all. Overall I think GM did a pretty good job. |thumb|

Put the new C-6 along side a Ferrari 308-GTS. The 308 design goes back to the 70's. An out the door C-6 in the $60K range, equipped right ?
I sure see a lot of high dollar cars and trucks in front of a lot of low dollar real estate. Priorities ?
