I have seen the ads for the StingRay at the Chicago Show.  Just 80 miles from me.  What a concept car!!

It looks like it has some Cadillac concept in it. That Stingray emblem is kinda cool.

I agree that some of the elements are kinda nice, but don't care much for the huge scoops in front and back.  Maybe a little overkill.

Vette(s): 1972 conv., sunfire yellow, blk interior, blk vinyl and convertible top. Off frame restoration with American Speed 383 stroker engine producing 500hp plus a 200hp NOS system. MSD ignition. Hooker super competition headers with chambered exhaust.
I'm not crazy about the rear but other than that, I love it. Thumbs%20Up Thumbs%20Up

This is the car used in the Transformers movie.... I doubt it will ever make production. Most likely it will end up being a Queen tucked away in a corner someplace like Mid America... NCM, Volo, etc....

It is a kewl looking pice of history though.

i was thinking the same thing. i think it would be great if they started producing them for the public as they would be going back to the great designs of corvettes. just my thought.Clap

My thoughts... The C-3 was the last "real and raw" Corvette. My wife has an '86 Pace Car that is a helluva lot more sophisticated than my '78....

I guess that's why so many of us geezers have C5 & C6s.... I am one of the few holdouts in the Nashville Corvette Club.
