Got some loose change laying around? Thought some of you might enjoy this recent eBay auction. It's outside the C3 world, but really! Is there a C3 somewhere that could pull this type action?
Don't know how to make the hyperlink so here is the auction #:

'67, L88, NO3(36 gal. fuel tank). One of only 2 "tankers" for '67. Too rich for my blood!!
btw......this post should be in the "All Vettes" forum.

Vette(s): 1969 Daytona Yellow Coupe - ZZ4/4 speed, Hurst shifter, Griffin aluminum radiator w/ Dual Spals, March Serpentine Pulley kit, Hookers with STS Racing Baffles, VB&P Suspension bits, 17" AR Hopsters, L-88 Hood
This auction was torn apart over at CF...it's a phony. No such car was ever produced. The last time it was put up on E-bay it barely cracked 100K, now all if a sudden it's at $850K? Something isn't right, besides the fact that it's a fake.

I have to agree. While there were 2 N03(big tank) '67s made, I doubt very seriously that one of them would be an L88. Don't make sense.
I do know of a big tank car that had no other options, ie., low horse engine, no power, etc., but it was bought by a farmer who lived WAY out in the boonies, and didn't want it to run out of gas! True story!
