I have requested catalogs from just about all of the suppiers mentioned. I like Eckler's online site. I agree that you just have to compare prices & the shipping rates really make or brake some ordering for the same items. Thanks for all the info!

Ive ordered from most of the ones mentioned at one time or the other but my primary vendor is Riks Corvette Parts. I have their catalog but prefer looking at their website to find what I need.

I take the time to list the vendors on an excel sheet and their prices.
I don't always take the lowest $ because of all the reasons above.
and since not all vendors will have all the items you are looking for. I have picked the vendor with most items. Other times I have had to call the vendors to get help before buying. IMHO Bair's, 1st, Corvette World and the rest listed above. Best bet is to plan ahead and take your time. (Older folks will disagree with taken your time).

Some suppliers will give package discounts. Like door panels, carpet and seat covers at a discounted price then another discount rate for additional interior parts as long as you order them at the same time. Ecklers has that interior program.
Bair's waved the S&H fee for me when I let them know I was a member of C3VR and the catalog is on the way, that was cool.

i have used ecklers and midamerica alot. both have a large selection
and quality parts. both of their websites are easy to navigate. i do
check other sites as well but they are my usuals. when i order from
ecklers i usually pay the extra 4.95 for them to ship order the same
day and i usuall have it within 3-4 days (mostly only do that if i need
the parts quick), other wise i get the parts in about 7-10 days.
midamerica is usually very quick on their shipping normally and the one
time i paid to get the express handling it seemed to take longer (guess
i just wanted the parts to much). most of where you order from is
personnal choice as to where you feel you get the best service.

I've used Volunteer Vette, MAM and Bairs.
All 3 have awesome customer service. I use Volunteer when I've got difficult items to find. They seem to be the most reasonable and they are quick.
If I'm in a hurry and cost isn't an object I run up to Zip's since it's just down the road.

Jeez Jim. It must be nice to have ANYONE "just down the road" that sold Corvette parts. I'd be in heaven and probably broke with that easy access.
Do you find they are more expensive in general?

I know the voices aren't real, but they have some pretty cool ideas...
I have had good luck with Eklers,,,year one and mid america,,just depends on your needs, I think most all of them are just middlemen and the actual products sold all come from the same suppliers,,rd
