Thanks Steve.  It was nice meeting you, too.  Mike and I were impressed with the group.  They seem like a friendly, laid-back group!  We might come to the Tech Day Saturday.  May not be there right at 9am....  We've got a busy weekend ahead so I'm not sure.  Hope to see you soon!

Karen

Vette(s): had a really nice one. sold it to a good friend. Purchased 2004 custom coupe in Feb. 2009 did not tell anyone here until August 2009. BAD I KNOW.
I thought that was your web name, I remember you 2 clowns,LOL, I will be at the swap meet again this year so I am also trying to plan a small c3vr gathering, terry, speilman, for the alaskan state is the caravan God, so if mike wants to arrange something terry would be the man, I for one thinks any BBQ is a good plan, If I remember correctly you 2 are drug lords, I mean amnagers of a Rite Aid store, any chance of a pill fill pinata', LOL keep checking in on the site and i will aslo be emailing with portland swap meet info as we get closer. signing off Larry.

Larry,  Just to set the record straight,  I didn't have far to jump, the ship was sinking fast!  Actually, I took a few months off, and just started at T-Mobile.  I don't think my wife was ready for me to retire just yet!!
I did email Terry about the posibitity of having a BBQ if the caravan  does stop in Central Oregon.  Brian, (in case you didn't know yet) and Stewart, (Black C5),  have offered to help.  I have a few acres so there will be plenty of room.  Also, if needed, we'll find the best hotel rates, unless you want to camp on the lawn, (sorry, but it's a small house and I'm not giving up my bed).  And as far as the pinata' is concerned, Brian is your man!

We've attended one meeting and the tech day held by Mt Hood Corvettes.  We were impressed with both!  It does appear to be a great group of people.  Very friendly and welcoming.  We plan to come to the next meeting (this Thursday) and apply for membership.

Steve, the tech day was very impressive.  Wish we could have stayed long enough to see your break job!  I hope to learn a lot about Vettes!  Maybe I can even learn to do actual work on the Vette!

Karen
