Vette(s): 1981 Red Interior White exterior
My brother and I were talking today about what I'd like to jump into with my next project...no my current project(my C3) isn't quite done.  I would love to scratch build a 62 vette using a frame that can use C4 or C5 suspension and an engine that would be approaching "WHAT? are you stupid?" specs.  Replacement body parts and custom interior.
I thought I'd start looking into prices on the frame.  Anyone have good experiences or leads on a good frame shop?  I won't be ordering anything until next yr, if I decide to go in that direction, but you can never start too early getting the info.

Thanks very much,
Dave

Vette(s): 1974 Coupe 358ci 4 speed Black w/Medium Saddle interior w/79 custom leather seats. . 1999 C5 Convertible, 6 speed, Atomic orange, Oak interior.
If you're not already planning on it, come down to Corvettes At
Carlisle. You can see and research most anything there. You could build a car starting with nothing and go to finished with the parts you can find there.

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Contact VettSteve.  He has lots of C3 and some C4 parts including frames. He sell a lot of Frame to MidWest restorers to replace rusted out ones.  vettsteve@aol.com

He can give you a typical price and may have some other items worth your while.  Shipping something that heavy you may want to purchase other items and have them boxed and shipped as household goods.
