Stolen '96 Grand Sport

96 Grand Sport #947 was stolen from the owners driveway in North Miami Beach, FL on 6/10/10.
Everyone please keep eyes and ears open for any information regarding this car. VIN and contact information can be viewed here.

If'n it were mine I'd contact the ports where container ships depart from. A good chance something like that could turn up there if it were being looked for.

Vette(s): 1972 conv., sunfire yellow, blk interior, blk vinyl and convertible top. Off frame restoration with American Speed 383 stroker engine producing 500hp plus a 200hp NOS system. MSD ignition. Hooker super competition headers with chambered exhaust.

Here is a bit more information about the description of the Grand Sport Corvette:

1996 Grand Sport Corvette Coupe with black interior and F45 adjustable suspension. The correct VIN is 1G1YY2253T5600947. It bore a distinctive Florida “Salutes Veterans” tag with the number “GS96″. It had 56,000 miles on the clock.

I agree because if I read the story right, they damaged the car getting it out.
