I wonder what the reserve is on this one.
Last weekend I did a search in AutoTrader that brought up several cars just to see how out of line the asking price was. One out in Montana has 900 miles on it and the asking price is the 1990 window sticker price - $58K I think that one will sit for awhile.

This truely has been an experience of a lifetime. Still can't believe it is actually out in the garage and ours. It was one of those deals that got you coming and going - a dumb thing to do and a dumb thing to walk away from. In the end all caution rocketed out the window at the speed of light...!!! And if we end up eating PB&J sandwiches occasionally it will be worth it.
There are a few little things that need to be done to it before putting the cover on for the winter but they're all within the realm of my limited mechanical skills so that's good. Come spring we'll have to get new shoes for it as the originals are all showing checking/cracks in the tread grooves. Then we'll be good to join the 180 MPH Club...!!!

btw - by request I added a picture of "The Heart of The Beast". When the hood was open during the pre-sale inspection last week several folks walked by and couldn't get over how clean everything was. It will be a challenge to keep it that way!

I have allways wanted a ZR-1 my self both when they came out and ever since. Don't let the High Cost of Repair get You down its not like they need that much anyway they are a Modern Car. Its nice that Yours has the Original Wheels on it Most of them have the 94-95 Wheels on them. You may want to check out the ZR-1 Club they are a Great Bunch of Guys and a really Good Club. they have a lot of Members and a Big Turnout at Events. They Go Hand and Hand with My Grand Sport Club as we go to alot of Events togeather. Sound Like Your Might Not Be King of the Hill anymore though it Sounds Like it is now the Queen of the Hill. Hi Jim, Congrats on your new addision to the garage! About the garage, they are never big enough. C-4s have a great body style, and the ZR-1 has the HP. Dick & Jill
Hey Jim,
Way ta go!! But ... what's with the RED thing? I know - "All Corvettes Are Red". Hey - I just had an ephinany: You & Patti could do a "twosome" caravan to CA next spring/summer. Aren't corvettes meant to be driven? HA! HA!
Congrats on your newest addition. Better watch out thoigh - "BigBIRRD" may get a bit jealous being outnumbered.
