Excellent perseverance, there.  And it paid off.  You are the gentleman in that crowd.  Now, make sure everything ~EVERYTHING ~ gets fixed.  Loss of use and enjoyment of a C-3, to me, is incalculable.

harryhere, it wasn't my 75 that was hit or else i wouldn't be able to use it anyway as i would be in jail from hitting the idiot. it was my 90 that was hit which is just as bad. tb2k82ce...no matter what side you are on with them they stink. my wife was insured with them when she had her accident (long story) and she is covered for life. accident was 36 years ago. every once in a while they assign an adjustor who thinks they can prove she is a fraud and really screws us around. all ready got the insurance and banking commission after them. also heard that people have had them for years and when they turned a claim in they dropped them afterwards.

guess i am used to them but it still aggravates me i had to wait this long to get it straightened out.

thanks everyone for your support. it has helped me get thru this difficult time.Thumbs Up

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
I was just trying to be charitable with them.  I have an independent agent that works with me.  I have always had better luck with them.  In California it doesn't make any difference who you are insured with.  If they are unable to meet the needs of the insured there is a pool of money that they all have to pay into that will cover you.  I have used SafeCo Insurance for over 15 years.  Had claims most not my fault they pay up no hassle.   I highly recommend independent insurance agents to everyone especially in California.  They actually have to earn your business to stay in business.

Guys, I've been crazy bizzy, I havent been here in weeks...  Its your friendly neighborhood insurance guy - Heres my question - Why didn't your insurance company pay you? If your insured,  they pay your bills and they get reimbursed under subrigation. Im not versed in OK law but in NJ if someone files in spite, it is a prosecutible offence.  Personnally, I believe you have a civil suit against this moron for filing a frivilous action, defamation and injury.  I'd shove really deep..

kebo..my insurance co. (nj manufacturers) didn't pay me as i don't have collision on the car. as far as the idiot filing the charges against me, he still believes i turned into him so it's his right to file. the only thing was that the charges were dismissed as they didn't hold water. a month for checking into the accident is acceptable but i think they thought because i had to handle it on my own they could jerk me around. it was 7 weeks and they just decided to accept the liability but that was after the call from my lawyer and the suit papers i filed.

well everyone, this story is almost at the endClap. got the check from his insurance co and will be dropping the 90 off to the body shop tomorrow. he said it should take about 2 weeks. he will be repairing it plus he said he would paint the whole car for me and install door, b pillar, and rear window gaskets for me (which i will give him). can't wait to get it back.Thumbs UpClapBig smile.
