Vette(s): 1975 Stingray Nomad Wagon, with Daytona front, custom hood scoop, dual side vents; 420HP 350; Doug Nash 5 speed; 1980 rear end W/4:11 gears; Cherry Red metallic paint.
Actually, being a custom fanatic my whole Vette loving life, i had the DISpleasure of remembering this "car" when it was first built.
As i recall, the couple that built it were supposed to be Vette fans, and also loved the olde American Roadster (Model T-bucket style). They pondered what would happen if someone took a Roadster and crossed it with a Corvette. You can see the results. The funniest line in the article i read was the interviewer asking: Didnt you get a drawing before you started?
As far as workmanship, i bet few noticed the details, down to: the headlights swing forward into the body to hide. Dont mnisunderstand me, its ugly to me, but at least it does show attention to detail. Just something like the glory days of custom, George Barris, Where are you?
But, from me to the people who created it: this sign is for you: |withstupid| d.

Vette(s): 1979, 350sb, as my kids affectionately call it "shit brown" Corvette purchased in 1996. 84,000+ miles. Not a show car, but I love her just the same.
Looks more like someone wanted a European roadster (something like an Excalibur) when they thought this one up. Some people just goe to far! I've said it once, and I'll say it again, "it's tough to improve on perfection".

Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!
Why is the 4X4 version missing the plow? |headscratch| Dog gone they just missed that one. Taint right |hammer|

Several years ago in the Chevy shop, I had a C3 in one bay, and took a plow off a Blazer so I could put it on a lift, and slid it in front of the C3. Man did we get a lot of comments. Our service advisor when asked about installing the subframe for the plow replied "That's nothing, you should have seen us putting in the transfer case!"
