Vette(s): 1979 Coupe THE DIVA color: BLACK

Oooookkkkkkk......Not too sure just WHAT that is supposed to be.
I like MODDED Vettes but that is alittle much.
Doesn't even LOOK like a Vette.

As for the Ebay "Vette":
Nice imagination, poor application. Oh well.
As for the C6 looking like a Viper:
I personally think the Viper looks like a marrage of a Camero SS hood on a C5 like body. Viper stole OUR look.

A public service announcement.
Too much bondo.
Too much beer.
Too much idle time.
And this could be in your garage.
This can only lead to jet powered diamond coated lawn tractor pull/drag racing competiton.
Friends don't let friends over customize.

Yuk!
I would call this "thing" a "Bug-mobile". Looks like a grasshopper was involved.
It just makes me LOVE MY VETTE EVEN MORE - Mine is SOOOOOOOOO pretty.

AAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHH!!!!! I'm not a "purist", but that thing is ghastly!! Almost as bad as the C2 I saw at Carlisle that was mounted on a 4 wheel drive small truck body!

USA Icon...you mean like this monstrosity? Which is still better(somehow) than the original poster's subject. (which is STILL for sale on E-bay!)

I realize beauty is in the the of the beholder, but that car is butt ugly no matter how good the workmanship. That car should go under the crusher!

. . . and somebody be holdin' one mondo-bizarro, uh, er . . . I'm not sure WHAT to call it! How does one even call it a Vette? And what's up with the upholstered live-well on the back end?

The workmanship certainly appears flawless - full marks for that. But, who sketched this one up - Stevie Wonder?

Maybe I need to spend more time at contemporary art exhibits - or else start frequenting some crack houses. I'm sorry - I just don't "get it" this time.
