i still have one near me up in warwick ny. its about 40 minutes drive from me, living in northern nj. been wanting to get up there for a while now. i think there is also one down near the jersey shore area too. not sure about that one. i remember a few around when i was a kid. (im 35 so that places them to the late 70's and early 80's) there used to be one i know of by what is now ironically a huge movie theatre near willowbrook mall in wayne nj. my parents took us kids to see jaws and i think "the deep". i also remember one just down the road near totowa, but not sure about that.

There used to be over a dozen around here.  Now I know of 3 within about 20 miles.  Even without my wife, my daughter Megan and I went to see Herbie Fully Loaded a couple of weeks ago.

Funny you should mention that, Ken. The movie we went to was a double feature, and the 2nd movie was "Herbie"!

The second feature for us was "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxie"  I heard that was funny and had wanted to see it.   While we liked "Herbie" and really enjoyed it, we should have gone home when it ended and went to sleep.  Hitchhiker was a real turkey!  What a waste.
