I just got Vendor Passes for the auction today - the brother in law of a friend of mine will be selling 4 vets there and asked me if I want free passes..... I think he was keeping this brother in law from me all these years cause he knows I'd be all over him
You know I'll be taking pics for us!

Im real curious about this event. If the cars get massacred price wise, it could deval the market. If the prices stay static or even rise is it because people pulled out of the 201k's (1/2 a 401k) and want to put the money in something they could touch. Did the guys buying stuff w/the 2nd mortgage money come to the event? I own a vintage guitar business, the vintage collectable industry always follows suit of the vintage car market. On my side biz is down 30% and prices down 20%. Needless to say I am interested in the gavel this weekend.
I love watching BJ. Right off the bat...lot #57, a 75 vette original owner, original paint, stock, 20 k miles. looks mint mint. $16000. Somebody got a good buy.
This auction is particular good...with all the cars from GM.

74 coupe 4 speed 350, 54K actual miles,
all original; paint, interior, engine,
split bumper. #'s match. 2nd owner, no stress cracks.
I saw a 76 vette go for $35,000.n BJ. I own a 76 and I can't imagine any76
worth that much, especially in this economy. One only needs to check the classifieds to see how many vettes are out there for sale.I check craigslist
every day and there is some great deals now.
