Wow!  Where is this place?  I've never seen so many junked vettes in one spot.  There seem to be the remains of (what used to be) some valuable cars in there.  It's too bad they're just wasting away.

Adam, that truly is a terrible sight. All that wreckage--including what looks to be a '96 Grand Sport, judging by the blue and white-striped roof?

How very sad. But thanks for sharing it here. Just underscores how valuable our own Sharks are to us...

Very sad, yes, but I view it as opportunity.  I was able to get some very valuable parts for my car from one that looked as bad as these.

Contemporary Corvette advertises in all of the major Vette mags. They do a tremendous business in used parts. Hopefully out of the numerous Vettes RIP'ing there, hundreds of others get the restoration parts they need....

Look at it this way...most salvage yards will crush cars after a period of time...these are being saved, and in some cases, rebuilt/repaired, and put back on the road. It is a buffet for the Corvette hungry...all you can eat.
There are other Corvette salvage yards across the country, and almost all of them have cars like these, just waiting for someone that needs a piece, or the whole car. Paradise...

Very sad indeed. But like the organ donation program, it's a good thing.

Adam, I noticed that in the last pic of the C6 chassis, there was a late model GTO next to it. Does he have more than just vettes there?

I'd imagine there are probably a couple different LSX-based vehicles (Corvette, GTO, Camaro, etc.) in the yard.

Thanks for the pictures.  I have never seen a vette junk yard before.  Is it like Pic and Pull?  Sad to see all the cars, but of great value to everyone needing parts.  Does anybody know of junk yards like this in northern California?

Ron is a very decent guy to do business with.
I purchased front and rear calipers/rotors/knuckles off of a wrecked '05 GTO, better known as the red big brake upgrade for the '04 GTO. Price was good and everything was there to do the big brake conversion. So for anyone who has a '04 GTO, you already know the brakes are to small for the car. So give Ron a call and get yourself a complete big brake setup from a '05-'06 GTO. Thumbs%20Up

Thanks Ron!

I thought I noticed some C4 square tail lights a la ZR1 ??

I just sold my 1990 ZR-1. The 1990 ZR-1 was the only year that the square tail lights were exclusive to the ZR-1. In 1992 and beyond all Corvettes C4's got the square tail light treatment. The 1990 also had a unique electrical system with many issues. That is the only reason why I sold mine, I got tired of clearing the false codes. It was a fantastic car otherwise.
