I love the car with the exception of the
wheels. I am not a fan of the huge diameter wheels with thin
sidewall rubber. I realize that these wheels are the current rage...I
just don't like the look. Chip Foose uses them on his "Overhauls". I
see these beautiful restorations on his show ruined, in my opinion, by
these hideous wheels. But... to each his own.

have to agree with ranger about wheels. the wheels should accent the
car and not the other way around. like a woman with a nice chest wishes
people would look at their faces, to me its the same with a car. don't
want everyone just looking at the wheels. my 90 has the thinner tires
on it but the rims dont overshadow the car. just my opinion.

I don't know...I kinda like the whole package...it does look a bit out of proportion from the front, to me. But, overall, I think it looks killer.
I also think it would look mooch better with a set of Ansen Sprints on it...old school all da way!

The 789 did not get the same praise over on PacificNorthwestCorvettes.com none of those guys liked it, but then again they all own newer Vettes. I think it could have been better designed but it does look cool

Scott, yep the wheels SUCK!
To me it looks like the front end of a 50's Chevy Belair and the rear looks like an Impala.
It looks confusued...
....just my 2 cents.

I like the style of the '57 Chevy. Very Classic.
I never liked the '58, even though I had one (actually my first car).
And the '59 was too much rear end.
I guess someone had a dream, woke up and put this together.
At least back in those days, you could tell a 56 from a 57, 58, 59, 60.
And you could tell a Chevy from a Ford or Dodge.
Now they all look alike.
Or am I just getting old?
