I realize this is across the country from you, but give Mike Furman at Criswell Chevrolet in Gaithersburg, MD a call.  He's one of the top Corvette salesmen in the country...he's personally sold over 3000 Vettes.  He's one of Chevys go-to guys for feedback, training and rewards.

Mike's direct number is 301-212-4420.  He'll treat you right and go the extra mile for a Vette guy.

Vette(s): 74 coupe 4 speed 350, 54K actual miles, all original; paint, interior, engine, split bumper. #'s match. 2nd owner, no stress cracks.
Thanks everybody for all the advise.
Just getting my feet wet and checking prices.
Good idea on autotrader.
They list 163 verts/ manual trans.
Starting a little over 60k, w/ around a 5k discount for a new 2014.
Not bad.
Thanks again.

I am not a real hot rod kinda guy.
Just the basic Convertible with manual transmission would be nice.
Plus I am 69 years old.
And can't take it with you..

Find my post above and click the link to myGM.    By joining a credit union in the GM program you can save more then $5,000.  Figure around 8-9% off list.

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Find someone that works for GM.  They get great deals on purchases.

Have them adopt you and then they can purchase you a corvette for a gift.  The cost of adoptions could equal the cost of the car.
