Most Vetteheads, like myself, not only love their cars, but think of a Vette as a thing of "beauty". Like beautiful art. I've been a Vettehead all my life, but have only owned one for 1 year. In the 51 or so years I've been alive I don't think I've ever missed a Vette going by. Was glad to hear that most of us wave at each other, because we're having fun. Maybe some people think of their Vette as just a car. Then again, remember, "The world is full of assholes", some of them are bound to be driving America's Greatest Sportscar. HAPPY 50th, Terry |wavey|

Nice car! Kool rabbit. Won't let my wife see this, then she will want one! Rabbit I mean! She thinks I have enough cars. Is three too many?

Vette(s): 1975 Coupe NOM 350: Edelbrock 64cc heads, QJet clone, Performer manifold & cam, gear drive and water pump; MSD ProBillet dist and 6A box, Comp rollers, Hedman headers into true duals, Magnaflow cans,TH400 w/shift kit, TT2's, 3.70RA, hi-rise hood
In boot camp, we were taught to salute the uniform, not the wearer. So I wave to the car ... and if the driver happens to return the wave, that's fine, too.

Never met a Vette I didn't like.

The color code says Rally Red, but I've never had it next to a true Rally Red. I looked at the paint chip and the car color looked like it had more orange in it than the Rally Red chip. So I had them do the computer match when I needed some touch up paint. Had the car a little over a year and bought it from an estate, so the prior owner isn't around to ask.

As for rabbits, only have one in the yard. She brought home some big statue of an angel the other day. Lovely!!!! Now I have to look at it all the timel. It has wings, so I wish it would fly away!

But I know if she saw the rabbit in the picture, she would definately try and find one like it. As long as she doesn't tell me I have to get rid of the car, guess I can put up with rabbits, angels, statues! |wavey|

I agree also that's it's the person and not the car. I drive a C5 and still don't get waves from most C5 drivers! Saw a Z06 yesterday and waved at them. They acted like they didn't even see me. Had the same thing happen from a C3 a couple weeks ago. Then on the way out of town I passed another C5 and he gave a big ole wave. Just keep on waving and the ones that don't get it can go on their merry way!

SAVE THE WAVE!

I think most C-3 owners are true "Car Guys (and Gals)" and have a real appreciation for the 'Vette lifestyle. As an aside, many of our C-3s don't have functioning air conditioners and we ride with the windows down and t-tops out making a wave lots easier than having to power down the windows of a C-5 to wave.......... |wavey|
