I was looking through some things today and I ran across something I thought I lost years ago. My Owners Manual for my 71 signed by the man himself back in 1983 in Spearfish S.D. He was there with his wife and was only 75 at the time. It is so legible, not like some who sign a lot of autographs and just wiggle a line and call it a signature. I have to say out of the top 10 people I have met in my life that impressed me, he rates up towards the number 1 spot. Anyway, I had that book at a car show on display and I thought someone took off with it. I took everything apart I could think of looking for it.I gave up on it for t for the last 7 or 8 yrs. I'm so glad to have it back.
He came back to Spearfish again in 1985 and I got to meet him again. And he remembered me which I thought was kind of nice. Did any of you guys get a chance to meet the man?

If it's not painted, Chrome it!!!

Sadly, Zora died just before I got back into the 'Vette hobby.
He was a great guy, and did good work on the 'Vette, to make sure it was as good as it could be.
Put that manual up somewhere safe!!! It is a connection to the one that really was "The Godfather".
