It was voted in the thread: 2006 Gathering Location (Round 4) that the 2006 C3VR Member Gathering will be in Pigeon Forge, TN.

In round 1 voting the majority voted to NOT have the event during an exisiting event... just have the weekend to ourselves.  However, since Pigeon Forge was selected as the location, I found that there are three events that are of interest to us Vette folk, one of which IS a Vette show.  So with this Vote, we can either pick the month to go, NOT during any event, or we can pick the weekend to go DURING an event.

To place your vote... Select from the poll choices above.
Please ONLY VOTE ONCE!
ONLY VOTE IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND FOR THE DATE/MONTH YOU CHOOSE!
Voting Deadline is 1/7/2006!

Comments (replies) to this thread are welcome but not needed. Your vote can be your reply.

Thanks!

The major problem with going during an existing even is the lack of a place we can all stay at. I think we should go when we can have most of a hotel/motel to ourselves.

I have to agree with Barkingowl.   It would be wise.  I would like to chat with you all and not try to find everyone while the others are in the way.  For be it.  Just the way I am.

i agree with Iron82, and from what I've heard Pigeon Forge is crowded when no events are going on...

Agree with NOT during a big event in Pigeon Forge. June seems to be a good month with few events that I may want to attend. August is Carlisle, September has Mid America Fun Fest,NCM Anniversary plus another NCM event. May has an NCM event. Just my 2Cents.

I agree, Not with an event.

Sorry Terry, I voted August. I forgot about Carlisle.

 Maybe we'll do both.

June is a great month in Pidgeon Forge, especially the first couple of weeks, before it gets really HOT!! Great time to let the top down and cruise the Blue Ridge Parkway.Lots of great cruisin' roads and picturesque scenery. July and August are hotter than blue blazes.

I could do June if it isn't the 17th. That's a big event in the Finger Lakes area that gathers at least 8 local Corvette Clubs for a dinner cruise and wine tour.

What is May like in TN?

Pidgeon Forge is a great place for car related events, but is covered up with rugrats during the summer, that is why I voted for September during the Vete Fest after they are already back in school. The more "Vettes around the better I say. Our C3s outVette them all!

As far as the children go, about the only way I like them is sauteed in butter then char-grilled...........
( not to be too harsh on them )
