I dunno. I like the plastic show. sounds cool. but driving across country...i would fly there if anything or look into the car train.  new orleans has alot of things to do. been there several times in mardi gras and its fun no mattter whether there is a celebration or not.  St. louis sounds interesting but we would ahev to see what there is to do there and if the other c3 sharks and who ever else would actually help out rather than just saying they would. anyhow, before i make up my mind i would like to see what other members think. and i would like to see the options for the poll.

C'mon...you could make the drive from Ridge . I used to live in Warren and have done the drive across 3 times from there. I drove my '69 from Pittsburgh back here to SoCal in February and it was a blast

I like the idea of going to a central location, but not a big city like St Louis or New Orleans. There's to many people in those places that would love to have my vet for free. Brandon, MO sounds like a nice place. Been to MO a few times & enjoyed the stay. I was born & raised in California & Northern or Southern are both great places, but to far to take the vet. It would be great for the west coast guys though.

Looking at the members map, looks like not too many people would take their car to CA.

To get the most Vettes, I guess it would have to be north east, but just to get together and do some site seeing/vacations... then CA is a very good option as well.

I still go for NO, but thought I'd add my second set of .02

I hope you all realize you can offer other suggestions of where to have it. It seems most of the conversation has centered around the first few suggestions.

Well, I was trying not to suggest my home state, but I am very surprised nobody mentioned Florida.  I live on the mid-west side of FL (Tampa), but I think that near Miami would be great.  We could do a drive to Key-West.  And for those who like to escape, they can always catch a 2-3 days Bahama cruise for a few hundreds.

How 'bout Panama City, FL the first weekend in May?? The locals, who would warmly welcome us, already have a great car show that weekend on Fri. night and Sat. and the weather is FINE that time of year.
