Okay, I chimed in earlier but here is a little to think about
st. Louis has:
anheuser busch brewery (very good tours with free beer)
st. louis international raceway
very good cruising sections of rt- 66
skyview drive in 35 miles north on rt- 66
2 hours from mid america motor works (I bet mike could give us a personal tour)
whats left of the old corvette plant
the arch
the best place to stay would be collinsville IL. its just 4 miles from st. louis and very safe place with nice motels. I would try and get as much stuff organized as I could, I am only 35 miles north of st. louis and only work 5 miles from it. I can do just about anything except get a picture of my dang vette to show up on my post.

Theres also Grants Farm where they house the Clydesdales. Thats a trip in itself.
Thanks Jetta for the chime in. I forgot you was in Moro.
The St Louis C3 Sharks and many other Corvette Clubs are in the area as well.
Keep the ideas coming gang.

We get the cars
never been to one of those places . wow .

There have been some wonderful suggestions here, but, I haven't heard any for the northern part on Norsky's map. Wisconsin is a good state. I have relatives who have a brewery in Chippewa Falls, there is the Wisconsin Dells and the weather may be a little more accommedating. N and S Dakota have the Bad lands, Mt Rushmore and Sturgis. After this year is over, I would go to Hell, Mi. in Jan for a gathering. Of course if we went to the Dakota's, we would probably triple the population for the weekend. Just a thought.

I vote Indy!! I would really like to attend, but its been too far away the last few years. I live in Mi., and I don't think we would want to go to Hell

Unless Adam makes an executive decision to go "off the map", Indy is still not in the region agreed on for this Gathering...or unless Indianapolis has been moved to one of the BLUE STATES...

[QUOTE=myrootbeerfloat]Ok the blue states
I say lets measure the map and find the center of the United States
Does anyone have a tape measure, ruler, compass perhaps

The geographic center of the contiguous (lower) 48 states is about four miles west of Lebanon, Kansas, at 98°35' West 39°50' North.
