NO BOXES...Drive 'em!! They HAVE to be in at least as good of shape as mine. Although, I do need to get those trailing arms on. .. Four wheel steer is a B*TCH! Disapprove  We'll be booking room tomorrow. Thumbs%20Up longhorn2942007-11-04 20:57:05

Sorry guys but the blacray isn't geared for 10.5 hour trips. Likewise my wife and I require more creature comforts than that. We could drive the C5 but we want to try and blend in with the nice Stingrays...

Soon as I can we will look at booking a room. Great job on the resort research guys! Thanks for lookin out for the rest of us! THNXZ!!!!

I screamed the 77 back from Bowling Green at 3500 to 4000 rpms . I don't mind the short hops but same here with the long hauls.
We go to several of these a year  and plan on keeping these two cars for years to come. If a trailer trip now and then helps keep a few miles off and a little wear and tear  to a minimum ,I see no problem with it. We drive our several miles a year and  somewhere almost every week it seems. Ask the guys at Bowling Green that got covered with road tar if the would  have liked to be in a box that day.

end of hijack...
See you all in Hot Springs

The black road tar was a temporary drag ... but it all came off thanks to some elbow grease and WD40 !!

Looking forward to the trip and the event. Looks like a great location.

Thanks to everyone for the research and planning.

OK which moderator or Adam wants to start a list of people that are actually going and have a room booked somewhere, this might help with the signups!
Do you think they will have a problem with trailers in their lot? I am currently looking at putting the Blacray into a box and draggin him behind the truck.
There is a trailer in one of the parking lot pictures I took, so I do not believe that there will be a problem with car hauler trailers. Also they have a boat ramp for guest, so I know that parking boat trailers is not a problem! I hope this info helps!Wink
