I am a new member and would really like to attend this meeting. However, it is a 12 hour drive from the not so frozen nort' in a car with no air or cruise. April shouldn't be too bad, any comments?

You're more likely to need a sweatshirt than A/C in mid-April in Ar. mtns. IMO. C'mon down, you won't regret it.

I know the voices aren't real, but they have some pretty cool ideas...
I know mine will be on or in a trailer ..... Are we there yet !!!!
Daniel- Which one will you bring?
sundew- I'll be coming from Upstate NY. Long ride, but that is half the fun. I expect warm days and cool evenings. Join us. It will be a blast.

I'm in! This means I can get my baby out of hibernation a month early!

I am really looking forward to this gathering as I thoroughly enjoy this group. I expect to sip some fermented malt beverage and swap lies and tall tales with you folks.

Welcome aboard Wally. I live on the west side of the TC metro area about an hour from you. I'm tentatively planning on going down with "The Toy" which also doesn't have A/C or CC. Depending on how winter projects go will determine whether I drive or trailer it.
MapQuest figured the trip fpr me at 13 1/2 hours so I may plan an overnight stop somewhere in each direction. Hopefully spring will have sprung early and all the MNDOT crud will have been washed off the roads by then.
