So you are saying in 2010 the West will be it? I will suggest in advance 3 locations Portland/OR, Vancouver/WA or Seattle/WA. In the mean time you guys should have it in Bowling Green, KY just cause the Vette conection.

Sounds to me like your all getting further from a decision rather than closer. As for myself just tell me where and when and I'll try to be there!
Thanks

Hey, I wuz boing in Booklyn
.

Don't laugh, ATLANTIC CITY !
Depending on the number of people going, the hotels, especially in AC, will work out a great deal. Parking is secured, I'm sure they'll desigante a parking area for us, especially when they realize the value of the cars.
Kerbeck Chevy has a huge Corvette Bash in AC, Oean City NJ is a quaint family town with a great Broadwalk, and it's 7 miles from AC.
You have Cape may, and Wildwood 2 excellent beach towns with lots of shopping and site seeing.
Upstate NY doesn't sound bad either.
Ok, guys, remember, to be fair, only the folks that are planning on going to the Gathering should vote in the poll.

Has any thought been given to the 'Tail of the Dragon' in Deals Gap, NC? I've never been there but it's supposed to be nice. The bikers all go there, but they depend on a milder climate to ride. In a Corvette, the season is stretched because we have heaters or AC, mostly. Very late fall or very early spring is off season.

Vette(s): 1979, 350sb, as my kids affectionately call it "shit brown" Corvette purchased in 1996. 84,000+ miles. Not a show car, but I love her just the same.

C3VR did a gathering at Deals Gap 2 or 3 years ago. I'm sure one of these days it will come back around as a gathering place again, but for now i think Adam is trying to satisfy as many member needs as possible. Hang in there. The cops are thick on the Tail nowadays since alot of those bikers tend to end up at the bottom of the cliffs instead of at the bottom of the mountain and still on two wheels. I missed the Tail and I still kick my butt over it. It would have been great for me since my brother now lives just off the Head of the Tail in Maryville, Tenn.

Sent you a movie to see of the Tail of the Dragon. Check your PM.

Okay so I'll say it. I'm a little disappointed in the fact that there is a chance that the gathering will be in the South again
I thought that Pam and I would make it if the gather was in NY or New England. I'm really hoping that the vote goes to New England so that the people in that area that can't travel the distance to KY might have a chance to go to a gathering
Of course I'm a little biased since my entire family is in CT and it would also means a chance to visit them.
