Vette(s): had a really nice one. sold it to a good friend. Purchased 2004 custom coupe in Feb. 2009 did not tell anyone here until August 2009. BAD I KNOW.
a little bird told me i was nuts for suggesting grays harbor, and yes the blue angels fly every year at the hydro races on lake washington in seattle area this year it is the 2nd of august.

I do not care where it is because this is my year to go no matter where it is.

Smile The Oregon coast and 101 Highway is an awesome drive and place to visit. Be great to have a chance to join in with you folks for a weekend. Get to meet some of you and see the pride you have in your C 3s as well as other rides. I am sure there is plenty to do in most of the choices here but it is hard to match the beauty of the ocean on the Oregon coast. Not to mention the seafood. Cheers...Eric Clap

If it was somewhere in the southern CA area, I might have a better chance of attending since I have relatives there. No matter where in the west though, i would be a fly in, fly out guy.
Thanks for suggesting the XXX-RootBeer "All Corvette Show"  Melissa and Jim but I don't think the Seattle area would be a good location.  Although I'd love to see us all at that show (and win most club members again) I'm kinda getting tired of it.  It's a great show with well over 300 Corvettes and not to mention THE GREAT FOOD, but I wanna go on a road trip to the 2010 Gathering.  Anyone thought about Napa Valley, CA and the Redwood Forests?
Hmmmm.... Colorado Springs would make a great road trip, doncha think? Clap

I know the voices aren't real, but they have some pretty cool ideas...

Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses. 2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
Come on and vote folks!  I'm not as confident in my attendance as my friend Dave Wright, so I'm not voting, but I know many of you had expressed opinions, and I only see 15 votes so far

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

That's the spirit Dave. I would have loved the Napa/ Sonoma valley (I even looked into reserving "Infineon Raceway,it has a 1/4 mi. drag strip and a road course, but Confused, it's kinda pricey) but I'm game where ever we land. my vettes are worthy Big smile.
