The 2010 C3VR Members Gathering will be held in the Bend, Oregon area on July 15, 16th, and 17th (Thursday through Saturday). The High Desert Corvette Club has graciously invited us to participate in their summer gathering, "Corvettes on the High Desert", as much as we would like to.
In keeping with past C3VR gatherings a Wednesday evening "Welcome to town!" dinner will likely kick things off on Wednesday evening, July 14th. And a "See ya next time!" breakfast on Sunday, July 18th, will likely wrap up the gathering.
Volunteers will be needed to help plan and organize an agenda coordinating activities with the HDCC group as well as scout out lodging options, dining spots, and other things of interest in the area.
Are we there yet...!!!

So the "High Desert Corvette Club" is in Oregon?? Whoda thunk it. I am from the "High Desert" in So. Cal. I didn't know they had a desert in Oregon. Learn something new every day. Now I don't have to try and learn anythng for the rest of today. :) It sounds like a great event. We live in Florida now and we are going out to So. Cal. in Sept. 2010 so that may kill our travel budget but we will try our best to make it. If not then maybe one here in the South East?? Now we are going out to So. Cal around the 1st week of November 2009. If any of you all are out that way maybe we can meet up while we are there.

Sounds great, already booking time off for this so count me in. I will plan on driving down from Vernon B.C. probably part way on Tuesday the 13th or may even leave on the Monday depending on time off. Just checking for a route now, looks like down through Wenatchee and Yakima would be a good drive. Any ideas on that? How about is there anyone that would like to drive down together? I would enjoy the opportunity to meet up with some of you folks, maybe we could make arraingments to meet up along the way. Thank you High Desert Corvette Club for the invite to join you in festivities. Thanks also to those who have put time into organizing this, look forward to meeting you all.
Take care,
Eric...

Wow, it just keeps getting better and better. John (I believe thats right), that sounds like an offer a person cannot refuse. I would enjoy visiting the tree farm along with meeting you and the others along the way. What day do you think you will be heading down to Bend. Must be the people and their cars because this sure sounds like a great drive with a little fun mixed in or a lot of fun mixed in with a little drive, whatever...looks good.
Thanks,
Eric...
oh yeah come on down and drive with the crazy people. looks like we might have to take all week off and have a send off BBQ.....

Eric I will be heading down Wed.
At the Farm we have a little place we call "The Apartment". Its a little 2 room +bathroom deal that is nice but not over the top nice. Also a garage to park the car in. Friends say its like a ski lodge. No tv but does have internet.
The nice thing about the Farm is you can piss in any direction and not worry about being seen. Now thats cool.

A garage, an "appartment" and freedom to pee north, south, east or west, depending on the wind of course, now that is "cool"
. Your hospitality sounds awesome, I will have to bring beverages
. Yes, I booked the week off so will be down there on Tuesday, no problem. My new 2 1\2" exhaust system is arriving today from Corvette Specialties, so looking forward to putting it on to complete the engine work so she can breath. Weather is changing here so don't know how many more miles I will get this year, a few nice runs yet I would expect.

Thanks again for the hospitality,
Eric...
