Its pretty simple and every hour of the day doesn't hafta be accounted for. Some downtime is okay. Dave gave a good list and the review of past gaterings and such is a great resource to help spark the imagination.

We are planning on coming to this gathering.  Our nephew lives in Bend so we will be staying with them, but will be doing all the fun things with our group.  Really looking forward to this.  Hope our health will allow us to go.  But we are in as of now.  Bo

Ok -- so who gets excited -- not me -- we shall be there, in fact the Shiloh has our reservation (14 - 18 July).  Finally, get to make a gathering  Plan for righrt now is to leave Woodland Park and travel Route 66 to CA then up the coast  to OR and over just a bit to Bend.  Then probably drive back to Woodland Park.  It don't get no better than rollin' in a Vette!!!

Just to inform everyone that there is just a small contract that will need to be signed before the shilo can move forward with final bookings.  That should be done on Monday.  Very please with the communication and contact person from there, so it is going to be the lead "HOST HOTEL"  We will be posting very soon another 1 or maybe even 2 other hotels that have given us room rates for our stay, in case some of you have issues with the shilo choice.

Man I stayed at the Shilo Airport in Portland a couple time and it had a phone and TV right in front of the potty, any ideas if this one has the same ammunities Larry

Been in contact with Carla at the shilo, contract should be in place ASAP, In talking to her today, I have a few updates for all of you.  All our rooms will be in 1 or 2 buildings next to each other, with parking in front of the buildings, so she said more than likely our cars will be the only ones in the lot.  They also have 24 hour security patrols.

She said they will have a car washing station set up for our use.

For every 20 rooms we get a free meeting room, so Carla and I discussed having 2 meeting rooms together for us to use for a gather place, meeting and social location.  They also have a meeting room by the water which I have talked to her about getting for the business meeting part of our week end (That room will not work as a social gathering place, not big enough)

So we have a block of 50 rooms, so lets get going and fill them up.  Please don't let not having your vette stop you for visiting the northwest, we can fit you into one of the corvettes someone somehow.  Hotel has shuttle to and from airport.

Incase some of you have not figured this out yet, so people over here are a little off the wall, so you just never know what kind of crazy crap we are planning.
