This will be my first time.  I'm looking forward to meeting everyone.

I know there is a caravan coming from the east, through Columbus, Ohio.  Hopefully, I will be able to meet up with them on I70 somewhere.

Cry Bad news folks, does anyone need a room at the host hotel? It looks like I'm going to be tied up with the military during the event and I already made the reservation. This is the draw back to working with the military, change of mission always happens when  you dont want it to.Angry If someone wants a room just shoot me a message and we can get in touch with the hotel and  switch names.

Just ordered my new name tag and got some new shirts also, darn!!!

Hey Fred. I'm really sad we won't get to meet you at the gathering. I want you to know how proud and appreciative I am to you for the sacrifices you go through to help defend our freedom in this great country. We will be thinking of you.
God Bless, "T"

I live about 1 hour north of where I75 and I70 come together but that intersection is very busy. It would be better if I tried to meet you guys at where Ohio SR 127 intersects I70.

Hey Dan-o,

Not sure yet when I'll be heading for Effingham.  Still waiting for the vacation approval to come back.  Also not sure of which route I'll take.  Google maps shows the quickest way is south and east through Iowa to the Quad Cities and then angling across Illinois to Effingham.  If my buddy Pete ends up going I'll probably head east into Wisconsin and hook up with him coming down I-94/I-90/I-39 and on into Illinois through Rockford/Bloomington to Effingham.

Also not sure if I'll be driving or trailering "The Toy".  Probably won't make that call until just before heading out.
