It looks to be sprinkling some, but Candi and I are still planning on heading out today. We're planning on driving Route 66 from Chicago into Missouri before turning back around to be in Effingham on Wednesday.
Are we there yet? ALMOST!!!!
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
Marshal and Candi, have a safe trip. Weather here at home looks like rain for the next 10 days.

Take lots of pictures......
See you soon!

I'm STILL trying to get info on the road conditions in Arkysaw...I-40 has been closed due to flooding, but some reports say it's back open, some say it ain't. I really, REALLY miss Mr. Jim(SRJ).
We may wind up having to go up thru Okiehoma...really dint wanna do that, but we may have to...

I'm with ya Bro. Whenever my phone rings at my shop as soon as I walk in the door, my first thought is "Jim".
God rest his soul.

Lots of pictures, unfortunately lots of rain too. Only thing we didn't have lots of was degrees on the thermo-meter - Saw at least one sign saying 40. I'm sure it got colder.

For some reason, Candi's now second guessing me bypassing the heater core. She seemed so fond of the idea a couple of summers ago...
Also, I keep a notebook of my fillups. I hadn't put gas in the car since November 1st right before it went into storage. Last fillup was $3.11/gallon. Today, I paid as high as $4.53. Oh well...

BTW, it's supposed to be warmer (ok, not much) and dryer tomorrow...
