I'm out..
My wife, Judy, had knee replacement surgery 10 days ago. While she is recovering nicely, I am very uncomfortable leaving her alone for 5 days. So, I will have to skip this year's gathering. I am really bummed!

There is no substitute for low end torque!
Sorry to hear that Wally, but momma needs you more than we do.
Take care of her and you will be rewarded later.

Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

Thanks for posting a link Terry - NOW WHERE ARE YOU?!?!?!?
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

re fixed[/QUOTE] Ken, watching the news this morning, things are looking much better than I've been seeing in forecasts for a week or so. Today, tomorrow and Sunday should be mostly or completely dry. Saturday still looks a bit wet, but we'll have fun anyway.

Sorry all = I am out - called the hotel, still have to pay for the room, but that is my fault - it is pouring up here and looks like down there as well - my problem is I still have too many t-top leaks to endure a seven hour drive down there and back in the rain - hope to meet all of you one of these years - have the best event ever!

I'm on my way back from doing some road work in Hamilton, Oh. and the weather was nice there and clear skies all the way back towards my hometown. It is supposed to stay clear now until late Saturday / Sunday.
I live 2 1/2 hours from Effingham and there weather is calling for similar to ours with scatter showers possible on the above mentioned days.
Mrs. Tux.. and I hope to be able to leave on Friday now and join our Registry friends. We will be bringing extra towels in the cabin because of those leaks you mentioned Ken. The BlacRay does fine sitting still but cruising along at 70ish those raindrops find their way in through some mysterious crevious that is yet to be found by me.
So in saying this....."Don't throw in the towel Ken... Just Bring Them "...
