Your wish is Norsky's command... well, sorta... He created this thread last week for the 2012 gathering chatter:
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
To again conform to the posting rules, I offer for consideration :
Choice #1 :
Charleston SC
1st week of June (this may simply be too HOT based on the MAM tans and we should consider April/May)
Reasons : Wonderful city & history, Savannah (day trip & river walk crawl), Isle of Palms (beach), excellent food & shopping, Judith can attend !!!
Choice #2 :
Maggie Valley NC
Memorial Day weekend (or another week in May)
Reasons : Blue Ridge Parkway tours, mountain lake tours, Vettes in the Valley (memorial day weekend - 300 to 400 car show), much cooler than Charleston temperature wise, good food, much less traffic than Charleston, no sea salt, Judith can attend !!!

Maggie Valley is really pretty and a great choice! We were there in June of last year and it wasn't too hot then (the temperature LOL)

#2 sounds nice, but I would not do a car show.

Regarding the location of the 2012 annual meeting:
Charleston, South Carolina
Late May or early June. Perhaps we should stay away from the first week of June since one member stated that was a bad week for them.
The Charleston area is a very nice and scenic lint iocation for our type of meeting. I assume Clint can come up with some nice road trips.
