Thanks Clint, this should give us a look at where the membership wants to go.

I know this is not official, but everyone please only cast a vote if you really are thinking about going.

In the research Tab use the drop down and look at the real time membership map and see where our members are and where you might be willing to travel on the eastern side of the USA.
Thanks,
Evil Smileebo

I beleive that both Hershey and Gatlinburg (Pigeon Forge) have been former sites of gatherings, just FYI...

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

Although, I did vote and believe this to be a good idea Clint unless Adam hasn't followed up yet or changes his mind the place is set

According to his previous post He Said by Labor Day the decision would be made. http://www.c3vr.com/vrforums/2012-c3vr-member-gathering-location-ideas_message385674.html

If this is the case the question is WHERE and WHEN... If not then what's next? Just Sayin.... Wink

I have just cast my vote for Charleston, South Carolina. I think it would be a great spot for the annual get-together.

I can create a VERY NICE agenda for Charleston. These events could be included :

The Hunley
Fort Moultrie (Sullivan's Island)
Folly Beach lighthouse
Isle of Palms
The Battery
Aquarium
King Street & Old City Market
Dinner Cruise
Roadtrip to Savannah

Food !?!

Shem Creek
Hymans
Boathouse
Ye Ole Fashioned Ice Cream

many more ...

Super Barry, we cast the first vote for Charleston early this morning. We sat down and looked at the members map to see what everyones drive would be like. The mid states group it does not really matter straight lines there all a hike.
Williamburg is about mid point for all the East folks but wondered if it would be warm enough in May.
We had a very short stay in Charleston a few years back and have always wanted to return.
So lets see how this turns out. Either way will start my 012 Gathering fund next month.

It sounds good, Clint, and you wouldn't have to bring the gray car far to deliver it to me!
