We don't need any more info on that one!

I voted for Charlotte, NC, but SC would be my second choice. I'm sure it will be great whereever it is. Looking forward towards another great gettogether

I voted for Charleston... would fly in and rent a car like I did in 2007 in Carson City. I could kill 2 birds with one stone... get to see all my C3VR buds and go to Savannah and Beaufort.
I was stationed for 5 years in the 60's/70's at Marine Air Station Beaufort and my daughter was born at the Naval Hospital there. Also, might get to see Clint's beautiful 64 convertible again that was "born" on the same day as my wife and I were married.
GO CHARLESTON!!!

Update: Just talked to Margie and we decided to drive instead of fly. Could make a better vacation that way... only not drive the Vette. Too far in it. So, lets keep those Charleston votes comin' in.

The difference between men and boys is the cost of their toys!!
Voted for Charleston, SC too. My wife just got back recently from a postal union convention in Savanna and says it is really beautiful down there and she wants to go back to that area for a vacation....therefore 2 birds with 1 stone...gathering and a vacation there

You not only made my decision on which to vote for much easier, but you also just nominated yourself to create the agenda!
And to be honest folks, much of the battle of creating one of these gatherings and making them as much fun as they have been, has been getting people to plan the agendas. I simply do not have the time to do it myself, especially when the location is a place I am unfamiliar with (which is 99.99% of the country). So, it looks like Charleston already has a comfy lead, but I would strongly urge folks to vote for Charleston since we have someone there who knows the area and is willing to plan it out for us. THANKS CLINT!
Also, thanks for getting this thread started. My schedule has been insane the past month and I have not been able to get the ball rolling on this by Labor Day like I said I would.
Let's get the voting done and close this down by 9/30/2011.

proposed dates for consideration :
May 16 - 20 2012
Avoids Memorial Day weekend
Avoids 1st 2 weeks of June crowds and schools are still in (less tourist traffic)
Avoids the summer intense heat (sunburn still possible yet optional)
Might get a better rate due to low occupancy
Dates sound good, Clint, but NO SHELLFISH!!! I got me an allergy!!! You don't want me in the hospital, Do ya?????
