Fantastic -- we have a goal of seeing every AAA team in their ballpark -- collect a bat from them. Looks like an early arrival for a ball game.

I assume you are talking about the Iowa Cubs in Des Moines. Sounds like a great goal to get a bat from every AAA team. Margie and I will be staying in Des Moines on Tuesday, May 13th, on our way to Wisconsin. Maybe we could get together to drive on into Wisconsin on Wednesday?? We still talk about the great time we had in Colorado this year.

Yeah --that would be the ticket, one day I may take a geography class and understand the layout of the US. Des Moines would be good, however, it looks like they have an afternoon game on the 13th. We could make that, just get on the road earlier from Woodland Park.

OK, was this some kind of sick twist of fate? In my previous post I said I would love to catch a couple of baseball games on the way. Cleveland, Detroit, Cubs, Whitesox, I forgot about the Brewers...like everyone else :-)... Turns out the Brewers are the only ones in town during the gathering. Sometimes the stars don't align. I'm all for stopping to see the Mud hens though!
