Sorry to hear of your back troubles Barry.  There is nothing more painful than a bad back.  I was really looking forward to seeing you at the gathering.  Say HEY to Jackie.  Take care of that back and I'll see ya at another gathering.

Sarge - update, I'm going to be solo for this trip.  I'm sweating bullets here cause I still do not have my car back from my mechanic - he went to LeMans for the race on 5/28 and is still not back!  (The vintage Corvette repair business must be really profitable!)  When I do get the car I need to put the interior back in and also it hasn't been on the road for many years so I wanted to take some shake down trips, but I guess I'll throw caution to the wind and go for it.  With the combined experience on the trip I'm hoping we can repair most anything (assuming I make it to Buffalo!)  As a last resort I can always drive the (gasp!) - Honda and hopefully ride with another single on the cruises?

PS If I see 2 guys hitch-hiking around Dannemora, NY should I give them a lift?

Eh, don't sweat it man. We don't care if you show up in a Yugo, as long as you come and join us. It's about the people that make up this club. Hell, I showed up one year with a '04 GTO and a '13 Challenger R/T for our Annual gathering.

As for them 2 fellows around Dannemora...well I think the'll be more at home in the back seat of a Ford Crown Vic Police Interceptor. LOL

See you soon!

Jaws79 said:        It is with the deepest regret That I must Inform you guys that Jackie and I will NOT be able to attend this year's gathering due to my pending back surgery. I have a bulging disc in my back which is causing me much pain and limited mobility. I can't walk very far and at times am immobilized I do not feel I could handle the ride or the walking involved with the gathering. This is really bumming me out. Those of you that know me know that this past year I have been dealing with a series of health issues that has really curtailed what I can do. It has been one thing after another. Hope you guys have a great time and make sure you post lots of pictures for us that can't be there. GO C3VR!

LOL I'm told, that the Crown Vic's are way more comfortable than the Taurus. Way more leg room, the seats are cloth and foam, and easier to get in and out of when your hands are behind your back. Matter of fact, just heard it this morning.Big smile
