Hi Guys
Marge and I will not be coming this year. I been fighting cancer since last September, I had one operation now and will be starting laser treatment and will be taking shots for the next 2 year. The dr. feel that after the next round of treatment I should be cancer free. That is all for one place of cancer, they are watching a second area in the lung for future cancer. Will miss everyone and was hoping to make this year, we have a son and great son in Seattle. Have a great time.

Flights are booked, hotel reservation made, and thanks to assistance from Vman73, we will be driving a screaming yellow C7.
Karen and I are a definite maybe. July is going to be super busy for us. Half the month is committed to the "other" fiberglass mistress (Willow). We have that weekend free, but it's the ONLY weekend we have free. Maybe we can join for a day or two.
Last time we took a trip, we overheated and had blue smoke. It's been fine since and we, nor our trusted mechanic, can find any problems. But we're a little skittish about an out-of-town trip.
If there is interest, maybe I can work out a mini-sail for a small group (6ish) of those coming through Portland. If there's huge interest, we can set-up a bigger bbq at the yacht club.

Would sure love to see you two. It's been so long. I will never forget the sail on Lake Tahoe.

I will be there. Decided to combine this years gathering with a camping and hiking adventure. Will be leaving Hot Springs on Wednesday July 6 with my pickup and teardrop trailer (just can't fit all that camping stuff in a corvette convertible). Plan to take Interstate 49, 29 and 90 to Tacoma stopping at as many points of interest as time permits. Will be staying at a campground near DuPont from Wednesday through Sunday and plan on attending all events. Will leave gathering on Sunday morning to visit daughter in Vancouver WA and then travel Interstate 84, 15, 70 and 49 back home taking about a week. Will appreciate any suggestions on any out of the way places to stop both going and returning home.

I'm afraid I have to bow out of the gathering this year. House construction expenses have been a little higher, visiting my daughter was way more and my nephew's funeral wasn't exactly a planned event. Hope everyone has a great time(I'm sure you will).
Dave C..........My mantra: I can not be bought!! Long and short term leases available.
