Vette(s): Don’t own one. Just like to drive them!
If you are doing MJ on the Tuesday, there is a little place to eat called 'Rosie's on River Street'
address is 11C River Street
This little gem got it's name from the local Madam of River Street Rosie Dale.  She was forced off River Street for not paying 'protection' money to the corrupt police chief of the time.  So she trained unmanned horses to pick up the 'Johns" on River street and to take them to where she set up shop just outside of the city limits, and out of the police jurisdiction.
It's located about 150 meters from the entrance to the tunnel tours.  there is lots of neat history in downtown Moose Jaw

Appreciate the planning Jim. At this time, our plans will take us through Minnesnowta and then up into Canada and across, so I think we'll meet y'all up there! Have fun

No problem.  Either route you take the scenery will be pretty much the same - FLAT...!!!  LOL   My middle sister lived in Winnipeg for a number years so traveled up there several times.  I-29 north from Fargo is about as interesting as I-80 across Nebraska.  At least going across Nebraska you can keep yourself entertained by counting the number of times you cross the Platte River...!!!   Sleepy  Wacko

See ya there...!!!

Yes. Candi is from South Dakota, so we're up there often and have done the North one too. But if our plans change we will let you know!

Hi Jim......good to see and hear from you again.  It's been a while.  I just booked a room in Saskatoon for July 17 to 21 so count me in for Minot on Tues the 16.  I'll meet up with Dick and Jill somewhere east of there.  Looking forward to seeing you again.

OK we have reservations made for the Microtel Inn in Minot ND for Tuesday night July 16th. We have a DQ room. Went to AAA yesterday and gave them all the places we want to go and see and a Triptik is being made, which I'm sure will change several times before the trip. Just have to make sure I have the leaks solved on the 99's convertible top before we go.

Folks coming in east and south - where will you be overnighting on Monday, the 15?

The reason for asking is I'm flying into the Twin Cities Monday in the late afternoon and Pete (PJK82CE) is picking me up.  We're trying to decide whether to head back east to his place for the night or continue northwest and overnight somewhere outside the TC area.

If you can try to avoid going through the Twin Cities during the rush hours of 3:00 to 6:00 in the afternoon/evening and 6:00 to 9:00 in the morning.  I understand the non-winter season called "Road Construction" is in full swing so that will impact travel times through the TC Metro area, especially during the morning and evening rush hours.

We haven't made any reservations yet for the nights of the 14th and 15th. On the 13th we have reservations at Super 8 in Ashland Wisconsin. Kinda thought we might try winging it from Ashland and see how far we get each of those nights. Suggestions anybody?

Ok, we’ve decided to spend the nights of the 14th and 15th in Fargo ND. Plenty to see and do there. Anybody else going to be there at that time?
