The clock is ticking down and before we know it we'll be doing some last minute packing.  Here's some thoughts for making the trip a little more enjoyable.

It is springtime in northeastern Wisconsin and we will be in the neighborhood of what was a giant ice cube this past winter, otherwise known as Lake Michigan.   The ice hasn't been gone for very long and a breeze off the lake will put a bit of a chill in the air so be sure to pack a sweatshirt and a light weight jacket.  Also pack some rain gear and/or an umbrella just in case we get a damp day.  Stingray Jim always reminded me to pack a bottle of sun screen too.

Pack a pair of comfortable walking shoes as most of the places we will be visiting will involve some walking.  One place in particular will not allow sandals or open toe shoes inside the facility so please be aware of that.

If you have hand-held radios bring them along.  They are a means of keeping folks informed as we drive along our routes.  If you have an extra bring it along as well so you can loan it to someone who does not have one.

The host hotel will be providing a wash area with a hose in the parking lot but they will not be providing any cleaning materials, rags or towels.  Please bring your own or purchase them at a nearby retail establishment.

That's all I can think of right now.  I'll update the list as I think of anything else.

Are we there yet...?!?!?!?

Yes, but it doesn't rain when you're not there. So I guess we'll be dry this year too! LOL

(In reality, sorry you won't be there!)
