So I had a thought and was wondering if anyone was interested in returning to the Northwest via Hwy 101. Me and the wife are thinking of taking I-80 into San Francisco, crossing the Golden Gate Bridge and taking Hwy 101 up into Oregon. This would be a very senic trip and a great experience for anyone who has never crossed the Golden Gate Bridge. So whos in?

I did it once on a road bike back in 1978. You talk about twisty road, I don't think Hwy 101 has a straight stretch of road more that a 100 ft
. I have to get back to work after the meet so no time for sight seeing. We will be getting into some serious testing of the first prototype when I get back.

I'll be going to Sonora, CA on Sunday to visit with my sister, then to Vegas to catch up with DaveM and head back East.
Hoping to find some Route66 on the way back.

Man that sounds like a wonderful trip Mark, I'd love to go with you but, I'm going to Colorado Springs for 2 days then to Las Vegas for 2 days then to Los Angeles to have new seat covers installed then to Dizzyland with the bride, maybe Knots berry farm, then work my way up the coast heading to Bend for 2 days, then Tacoma for the 4th of July then home to rest..

I took that trip once as far as Fort Bragg, magnificent. I've always wanted to drive it again. Hopefully one of these days. Love those giant redwoods.

We may go for the one day sprint. We did Gresham to Salt Lake City in one long day. This trip is about 140 miles shorter. Don't know for sure, yet.

I've got Monday off so I could do it in one or two days depending what others want to do. If I stop it will be in Bend. That way I could see my sister. I will let you know this winter what we are working on. Don't want the competition to know
