Whew what a day! Started out at 4:15am and ended at 12:30am.
As Rich stated Super Tour at CA (next years gathering host?)
Lots of rain and very heavy at times...lots of times. Everyone is safe and sound and Barry's tummy is hungry already!
Ken Styer had met up with us in Cambridge, we had it planned as a secret so he could meet some members and show us his Red Rocket. We were texting along the way, he was sitting on a on ramp once we passed he cought us flew by like a cop out of hell then pulled in front of me and lead us to a Mc D's Everybody was surprised when that hot rod blew by and then pulled into the lead.
Ken thank you for staying up so late! Hope you do not fall asleep in class today.
So we are about to take our C3 count up to 9 and cruise in to Iff.
More later but just something for you all to ponder......
- If you make a u-turn on an interstate......towing a trailer...with a C3 on it..... how many tickets do you get??? more because of double vehicles....or less because your group leader that did it first is a policeofficer????
- If heavy rain washes all the "Rubber" off a Nascar Racetrack....what does it do to an interstate?
- How do you get that said rubber and grease and oil off a White Car?
- How deep are 4'x3' mud puddles?
- How does mud look on Fresh Baby Blue paint (lou can fix it)?

Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

'Iffin you're headed the right direction, all roads lead there! As of last night, we were still headed the wrong di-rection! I think we'll get turned around this morning. A bit more of Ol' 66, then mostly Interstate for today!
ARE WE THERE YET???
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
I love a suprise meeting. More so, I loved meeting everyone. Once I got home, I still had to fix dinner for Debbie and myself. It was 2:15 am when I went to bed, and then got up at 5 am. 2 hours and 45 minutes sleep, not bad.
Stayed awake for the students, but the last hour by myself was rough. Now I need to stay awake long enough to go home, take a nap, the get up and fix dinner.
It was all worth it. Not as good as making the annual meeting, but our too short McDonalds meeting was a lot better than not meeting anyone at all.
Now I know what Ebo looks like, he better be careful

Wait a minute, he knows what I look like too. I'd better be careful!

Till the next time, I hope it's soon

Ok..CA next year would be great!! How much was Dans ticket?? Did Mark get him out of it?? How bad is Barrys paint!! WHAT'S GOING ON!!!!!!

My first parade at Carlisle 2010
OK finally made it to my room...
So a couple quick things to add
- Never underestimate the attitude of a C3, one second it can be humming along at 70mph on a six lane (while you are in the middle lane) the next second it can burn out a coil and shut off.
- Some times truckers just seem to know your in trouble and make real good driving moves to not run you over.
- Your best bud's (C3vr family) will never leave you behind.
- It should be a requirement that at least one person in your caravan has a trailer.
- An ignition modual wether it is a $55 Delco or a $23 Advanced auto are both made in Singapore.
- Tux did a fantastic job and I sure wish he be here.
- Butch is exactly like Stingray said he was........Janie does have a halo.
And the Rookie (Dan) did a great job washing three of our cars tonight, plus he brought all of the supplys......and he was a great parts runner this morning.....he is a Keeper!
Norsky has not found me yet.......

Tomorrow will be another awesum day!

Ok..so was it your old coil or a new one..did you have a spare module or did you have to buy one??the trucker probably saw the smoke the puffed out of your tailpipe when it died..and where is tux now??and yes Dan is a keeper!

Bought new module this morning, no change checked the new coil that I put in last Sept, wires may have been pinched by the cap and finally wore thru.....shorted out. Check on the blue smoke out of the tailpipes
Tux has some bigger commitments....

- Oh and 8 guys can push a dead C3 up onto a trailer....even in the rain
ebo
Ok..being its 1am and you are online means you got the car fixed..right..sounds like teamwork is the word of the day!! Hopefully tux and problem are ok..sleep time now and more fun tomorrow ..

Rich, car is good....but I hear every little odd noise. It seems to be running fine. Mileage went from just under 18 to just over 20mpg after coil change.

Looks like a beautiful day here............
