I know attending Gatherings are a lot of fun. In a way, they are family reunions, and C3VR is a family. Granted, a  very extended family, but a family just the same.  Not all of us can afford the time away from work or the cost of a "special" vacation.  It isn't possible for a family of more than  2 , to just jump in the Vette and drive to the Gathering, leaving other family members at home.  Maybe it is the cost of the hotel, the meals, or maybe you would really like to make it a "Family Vacation".   SO,....If any one is interested in attending this years Gathering in Bend,Oregon, but for some reason, have decided not to attend, let me throw out an idea....

You can camp out on our property.   If you have a camper, motor home, or would like to pitch a tent & camp out, we have plenty of room.  We have 7 acres that are fenced, so you can bring your dog too!  (we have 2 dogs).   Everyone  and their families  are welcome.   You may not be driving your Vette, but it will still be a great road trip/vacation/experience.  A great family reunion.  Think it over.   Drop me a private message  and let me know.   Love to see you here!!

Vette(s): 1976 Stingray matching numbers. Stock 350 rebuilt, comp cam, roller rockers, push rods, 2.02 valves, +.30 flat tops, frontend & suspension rebuilt Dec 08. Interior from firewall 90% July. New exhaust, Collector plates, Paint will have to wait...& wait.
Mike and Renee, I am driving my vette and staying at the hotel so I am one of the lucky ones, so to speak. I would just like to say that is a most gracious offer you have made, it shows very caring people. Look forward to meeting you, hope you have some guests.Thumbs Up

It was really great that we could get together for a BBQ, kick back & relax  before heading down to Carson City.   The way everyone  talked to each other like they were old friends, knew each other for years!!, "just hanging out.  You would never guess that we all just met each other that night. Unbelievable!!  And the caravan down was a blast! 

Great people, good food, wonderful memories!  Priceless!!

Mike and Renee are awsome folks.  They opened up their home for us all headed to Carson City and offered up one great BBQ.  Granted they were headed down with us but they took the time and effort to make the trip that much more pleasant.  And, they do have a georgous piece of property right there in the heart of Oregon.  Thanks for offering your hospitalities again Mike Thumbs Up
I'm sure anyone staying with them will enjoy the heck out of it.
