I know we just got back from the 2012 Gathering, but inquring minds want to know - where are we going next year?!

There were some discussions during the gathering about where we would go next year, and it was suggested that we leave the nominations to the members from the West. Since they will likely be the ones to arrange things, it makes sense for them to suggest places.
To clarify what states are "West," here's a map of the breakout and previous locations.
So, Western members - here's your challenge: Come up with a list of locations that you think would be of interest to all and where you or others would be willing and able to define some events around.
We're counting on you, and know you'll come through!

This is a good location to find scenic drive on. Could be helpful in figuring out what to do
or go see.
Click on Utah and I have done a couple of these. My favorite could be the Zion Canyon Loop.
Some information is outdated as you cannot drive into
Zion unless you stay at the lodge. The first time I went into Zion I could drive and we stopped along the river letting the kids play in the water. Now a tram tour takes you in unless you stay at the lodge. The tram tour is really great. Do not think we will be staying at the Lodge.
I just check on the prices and that will not
happen for most of us. $160 $190 each
night. But there are lots of other
areas.
Anyway It thought the website for scenic drives was
interesting. May be even identify some in your local area to take the car on the weekend.

Anyone else from the West have any thoughts/ideas?

Have done the Alaska Inside passage thing by rented minivan. Love the ferry system and would enjoy
planning an Alaskan trip but it would need to be 7 days and not just a
weekend.
Ferry on Friday from Billingham to Ketchikan (arrive Sunday morning
at 7AM got until 2PM to drive some great country.
Then arrive at Juneau Monday 8:45AM. Know a great spot close to catch cutthroat
trout just outside of town. Wonderful
upside down gardens with flowers galore. Back
on board for a tip to Haines take a river rafting ride drive and visit a wild Alaskan
animal park. Day trip (leave the cars)
to Skagway. Then turn around and come
home. I’m up of it. Oh the cost need to figure on $2000 or so
after you get to Washington.

What we need is to find a car mover that owns a C3 and would give good rates on transporting cars between the coasts. I checked that out once and could not get the guy to budge on a group rate single pickup and drop location with a round trip. Seemed like a bad business choice to me but I do not know the business costs.
