Janice and I just got back to Texas with no issues other than a couple thousand bug kills.  Logged 3441 miles.  We had a great time and enjoyed everyone's company. Our thanks to Dan, Kathy,  Mark & Shirley for all they did to pull this together.

With only a 45 minute drive home we made with no problems. Stayed at hotel to see everyone off on their journey home, except for Chuck and Linda who decided to stay an extra day. Made sure sure Jeff (JPD1stVette) got his car started and on their way. Then a leisurely drive home in the missed sunshine.

Met a lot of great new folks and I hope that somewhat of the more local members will keep in touch and try to join us on some of our "local" events. We do have a sort of unofficial group of folks from PA, NJ, and MD that try to get together for car shows, dinners, etc. all through the year. Anybody that wishes to do so just message me on the site here.

What can I say about being able to see "old" friends again. That is always the best part of the "Gatherings"!

Thanks to everybody who attended and made it a great 2023 Gathering!

Sorry to not respond until now but Jackie and I had a nice ride to our daughter's house for a day late birthday celebration for Lillian. Tire stayed up the whole way home but was very slowly still losing air. Couldn't get the car into the Chevrolet dealer until Tuesday morning. Sean (the mechanic) found the screw (what was left) and dismounted tire. Sean was able to install the patch and rebalance the tire, All is well with the world. Jackie and I had a great time and enjoyed catching up with friends. Hope to see you all soon!

Hello Jaws, Glad the tire is reconciled and now is dependable.

I'm glad your tire held up to get you home and you now have it completely fixed!

Always a problem with at least one car during these Gatherings.  This one had two. Ebo then you.  You were the lucky ones this time. 🤣

Thanks everyone fora great trip! Special thanks to Dan, Kathy, Mark and Shirley for the tireless effort to make this a wonderful event. They certainly kept us on the move and visited some really nice places. Lots of new friends.

Made it all through the event, 795 miles, in the Red Truck, probably a lot more comfortable for the wife, thanks for including us.

The weather could have been better, but hey, we still did great! And, sad that blu72 was not able to make the trip.

Great incentive to get it back together, I started working on it the next day - many new parts back on the car, lots of them have been on the shelf waiting.....

I really missed ol' Blu on the Pocono's race track, very jealous of the new Vettes making the lap - so at least I made the circle in the truck!

Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses. 2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible

Not sure how I missed this thread, but I did want to confirm Candi and I are home safely from the 2023 Member Gathering

We can’t thank everyone enough who took part in planning the event and making it another wonderful time!

it was great meeting new folks and I simply can’t describe how fantastic it was to see our old friends!

And for those of you who were worried, the weather was good enough on the trip home Sunday to have the top down and give me my trademark “raccoon eyes” from sunburn around my sunglasses!

Can hardly wait until the next one!  Are we there yet?

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
